Super Smash Bros.
Mobile, hard-hitting action! Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS is the first handheld title in the well-known series in which different game worlds collide. Up to four players take on the roles of some of Nintendo's favourite characters to compete against each other in face-to-face or online encounters. The fantastically designed locations of their battles are inspired by classic mobile Nintendo titles. The real and gigantic Super Smash Bros. experience can now be enjoyed on the go - anywhere, anytime. What is Super Smash Bros. Numerous characters such as Mario, Link and Kirby have left their own games to come together for a fighting spectacle. You can attack opponents and sweep them off the stages. You have the option of competing against friends in the neighbourhood or via the Internet against players from all over the world. Blow up opponents When you hit opponents, their damage meter increases. The more damage your opponents take, the further you can send them flying. And with powerful smash attacks, you can literally sweep your opponents off the stage. When you are catapulted into the air ... If you fly off a stage, you can use jumps and special techniques to return and continue the fight. Standard attacks and smash attacks Use the A button to perform standard attacks. If you hold the control stick or the slide pad in one direction, your fighter will perform a strong attack in that direction. By moving the control stick or the slide pad quickly in one direction and pressing the A button at the same time, your fighter performs a smash attack that can hurl opponents into the air. Four types of special techniques The B button is for special techniques. There are four types: standard, upwards, sideways, downwards - depending on what you do with the control stick or slide pad. Shield utilisation and dodging By pressing R, you protect yourself from attacks with a shield. However, the shield becomes smaller when you use it and are hit until it finally breaks. If a character's shield breaks, they will be temporarily stunned and unable to move. Items All kinds of items appear in Smash battles. The inventory is identical on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. It is an advantage in battle to know how the individual items can be used! Smash Ball:The Smash Ball is a mysterious sphere that floats through the level. If it takes enough damage, it will break. The player who lands the last hit can use a powerful one-time technique called Ultra Smash. Fire Bar: The fire bar from the Super Mario games has been turned into an attack object! When you hit an opponent with the Fire Barrier, they take damage, but the weapon gets a little shorter with each use. Steel Diver: This is a firearm in the shape of a sophisticated submarine. It fires small, barely visible torpedoes, which first slowly and then accelerate towards their target. Fairy flask: Anyone who picks up this item can heal 100 points of damage if they have already taken more than 100% damage. If they do not have enough damage, this fairy flask has no effect. Its usefulness therefore depends very much on the situation. Super Leaf: If you pick up this item, your fighter will grow raccoon ears and a raccoon tail. Baseball bat: You can use this item to unleash a series of extremely effective smash attacks. Even if your opponent has 0% damage, a direct hit can blow him off the screen. Just get some serious momentum! Kugelwilli: With this item, you can transform yourself into a Kugelwilli and hurtle straight towards your opponent. Use the slide pad or the control stick to set the direction, and when you let go, you fly straight ahead. Game modes Solo In Nintendo 3DS Classic mode, players choose different paths, move across a map and battle against COM opponents. There are many different types of games: 1-on-1, team battles with COM players helping you and attacking you, games where you have to defeat opponents one by one or in groups, etc. If you win a game, you will receive a reward. In addition to trophies and gold, you can also get hold of individual items. The stadium offers three modes: Multi-Smash, Home Run Competition and the brand new Disc Bomber. In Disc Bomber, players have a bomb that explodes 10 seconds after it is hit. You must throw this bomb to destroy blocks and targets and score points. Get a good score by throwing the bomb into areas with lots of targets, timing the explosion correctly and making maximum use of the kawumm boxes in a stage. Smash adventure Smash Adventure is only available in the Nintendo 3DS version. It is a fighting game for four players in which mazes are explored and buffs are collected. The time limit is five minutes. During these five minutes, you explore the playing field, fight enemies and collect buffs. After the time is up, you take the buffs you have collected into battle. Online battle When you play online against any opponent, you can choose between the 'Skirmish' and 'Hard on Hard' modes. 'Skirmish' stages are randomly selected from all stages except 'Last stop'. All items appear in it. Only the number of games you win is recorded. Only 'Last stop' stages are used in 'Hard on hard'. These are flat stages without platforms above or below them. Items do not appear there. All battle statistics, e.g. the number of defeats, are recorded. Features: Super Smash Bros. on a handheld for the first time! Up to 4 players online or locally! The new "Smash Run" mode has been created exclusively for Nintendo 3DS. In this mode, up to four players have five minutes to single-handedly cross a huge battle zone. Classic characters from the Super Smash Bros. series such as Mario, Link, Samus and Pikachu are included as well as new challengers such as Mega Man, Little Mac or Palutena, the goddess of light from the Kid Icarus games. Your Mii against your heroes: For the first time, players can also compete with their own Mii.
